These terms cover your use of the Craterio website and the process of buying a Craterio license. The software itself is covered separately by the Software License Agreement shown during installation.
You can browse the site and download the free tier of the app without an account. Starting a purchase, or downloading the installer, requires signing in with Google. Don't attempt to circumvent that gate, scrape the site, or use it in a way that disrupts it for others.
A Craterio license is a one-time purchase — see the pricing section on the homepage for the current price. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd., acting as Merchant of Record; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's own buyer terms. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.
A license key activates the paid features of the app on a limited number of machines at a time (see the app's own settings for the current limit). Don't share, resell, or redistribute a license key — we may revoke a key we reasonably believe is being abused.
Using the site or the app for anything illegal, or to assess its viability for illegal use, is prohibited. You're responsible for how you use the app and what you do with it — see the Software License Agreement for specifics on captured audio.
The site and the app are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of either, to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
